There is nothing better than grabbing your favorite book and nestling into a cozy window bench. Oh wait, there is something better…when that cozy window bench has tons of storage too.
The biggest question I always get
what type of wood did you use for this?? For this build I used 2×4’s for the base (the cabinets you see sit on top of that base) 3/4” oak plywood for the cabinets and most of the drawer pieces, and 1×2 solid oak for the face frame.
There are more affordable options when it comes to building cabinets but I wanted to let the wood shine in this space – which meant using more expensive oak plywood and solid oak.
